The Olympiad comprises 4 levels – 2 levels of paper-based tests and 2 STEM challenges. The focus of the tests is on scientific knowledge and problem solving, while the STEM challenges focus on the application of STEM principles. In the STEM challenges, students are required to discuss the assigned problem and develop a device to solve the problem using a given set of tools.
